There is an endless list of restaurants to go to in New York City. Even if you eat at a restaurant every night for a year, you will still have your work cut out for you. Over the last three years in New York, I like to think I’ve made some head way, but there are still some ones I really would like to try.

Lupa may not be as well known as Babbo or Del Posto, but houses some of the best pasta in the city, by none other than Mario Batali. It is always packed, however, and every time I have tried to get a table walking in, I have been unsuccessful.

Daniel – Chef Daniel Boulud’s masterpiece was recently named the #8 restaurant in the world on the San Pellegrino Worlds Best Restaurant list. Daniel supposedly serves the best French food in all of New York, and I cannot wait for an excuse to try it.

Two of my friends won big in Atlantic City the other week, and as a result, treated themselves to one of New York’s finest meals and one of its hardest restaurants to get into, Momofuku Ko. After a 15 course meal, in which the chef is cooking right before your eyes as you sit around a counter, both my friends exclaimed this is the best meal they have had.

WD-50 – Wylie Dufrenes is well known as the creator of the molecular gastronomy eating revolution. If you do not know what molecular gastronomy is, then you must google “wd 50″ and check out some of the images that come up.

Kuruma Zushi – Also extremely pricey, this sushi restaurant is supposedly the only sushi that gives Sushi Yasuda a run for its money as the best in NYC. But like I said, its extremely pricey, and closer in price to Masa than Yasuda.

Lucali – What? A slice of pizza you say? Lucali is supposed to be one of the best slices in the city, and involves trekking to Brooklyn and waiting on a long line. One of these days I will make the trek.

Just outside of Manhattan, in the heart of Woodside, Queens, resides a Thai restaurant that stands out above the rest. It is called Sripraphai, and has somehow garnered a 27 rating from Zagat, which puts it amongst the highest rated in the city.

Besides food, the writer additionally frequently gives advice regarding leather designer sofas and recliner sofas.
