Facing Hair Loss Problems Of Men
It’s an unfortunate fact for many men that with aging comes hair loss. Some men really suffer and start losing their hair as early as their 20s. Others are more lucky and don’t begin to lose their hair until middle age. There are some that see baldness as sexy, but most people view losing your hair as a sign of old age. The social stigma of hair loss is what pushes people to go to extremes to preserve what hair they have and try to grow it back after it has fallen out. You’ll find that hair loss isn’t always caused by old age. There are many diseases and treatments that will cause hair to fall out. Cancer and chemotherapy are commonly known to cause hair loss but you may not be aware that it can also occur as a result of minor diseases or even surgery. Hair loss is also found to happen to some people after taking medicines like antidepressants. So, what can be done to preserve one’s hair? There’s really no miracle cure. One of the most well-known treatments on the market is Rogaine. Rogaine will cause some hair growth but has side effects like itchiness. The problem with using it, is that the effects will stop when you stop taking it. So it will be a lifelong process to maintain your hair and it could get expensive. Another option is Propecia, which comes in pills. It has been proven to work in about half of people who have tried it. It is usually cheaper than Rogaine. Like Rogaine, it has to be taken frequently in order to keep your hair. Fortunately, there are a few natural ways to prevent hair loss. Lifestyle changes like eating less fat and reducing stress have been shown to make an impact on hair loss. Often lifestyle modifications are the most effective treatment of all. Hair loss is commonly brought on by stress, so the more stress you relieve the better your chances are of keeping your hair. It pays to find time to exercise, eat right and try other stress relievers. If you are experiencing hair loss don’t give up hope. There are medicinal and all natural ways to prevent your hair from falling out. You might want to go the natural route first, if that doesn’t work, then see your doctor.
