Another form of cancer that primarily makes men susceptible to contracting it is prostate cancer, which is apparently a type of malignant tumor that grows in their reproductive system’s prostate gland. As what you may have already know, there is currently no ‘single’ cure for any type of cancer, only a wide array of medical treatments that a patient may have to undergo altogether.

So before anyone suffers from its deathly hands, people should ensure that they are well-informed of the number of prostate cancer symptoms that may likely manifest on their body. Keeping in mind the following signs and symptoms would greatly help as it is a fact that the early stages of prostate cancer do not show any indications at all, not unless you are examined via the digital rectal exam (DRE) and prostate-specific antigen (PSA) screening test.

1. Hematospermia
Hematospermia means blood in the semen. While it is said to be common to sexually-active men, it is never normal when it is already persistent and is accompanied by pain.

2. Struggling During Urination
Dysuria refers to pain while urinating, and it is probably one of the vague prostate cancer symptoms that a patient may experience as it may result from the pressure placed by the tumor on the urethra, which passes through the prostate gland.

The following are also prostate cancer symptoms that are related to the excretory system: frequent urination at night (nocturia), bloody urine (hematuria), difficulty at the start and at the middle of urination and increased frequency in peeing.

3. Struggling During Sexual Contact
The anatomical position of one’s prostate gland and testes, the reproductive organ of a male, may cause inevitable erectile dysfunction as well as painful ejaculation.

4. Bone Pain
Lastly, one might know that he is already experiencing a more severe stage in prostate cancer when he already suffers from bone pain. This is due to the fact that this type of malignant tumor spreads to other body parts, most especially the lymph nodes and bones.
