The Disaster That Comes With Smoking
Anyone that tells you that they can name all the harmful effects of smoking in a few simple sentences probably hasn’t kept up with all the latest research and scientific data available now. It seems that every time some government institute or science lab does some type of study on the subject, there is yet another dozen or so items to add to the list of the harmful effects of smoking. Of course, a lot of individuals are aware that cancer in one’s lungs exists and the common cause for that would be smoking. However, not everyone knows that smoking can also cause women and men to be infertile. In a guy’s system, the nicotine from cigarettes kills the oxygen that is needed for a sperm to stay active and healthy. Thus, this type of sperm doesn’t have what it takes anymore to reach the egg of a woman. On the other hand, in a lady’s system, nicotine can disrupt the ovulation of their eggs. Blood won’t be able to reach her tubes (fallopian) which results to infertility since she won’t be able to produce a healthy egg on a monthly basis. Yet, this knowledge remains unknown to most women. Cancer not only affects the lungs of a human being. Most smokers are reported to have throat and mouth cancer too. This is not a surprise since those are the parts of a smoker’s system that comes in regular contact with a lighted stick which can bring those cancer cells to the body. Your blood can carry the nicotine and tar from the sticks that you are smoking. Thus, you’re giving these harmful agents free and complete permission to destroy your body. They can take your kidney, cervix, liver and breast one by one by attaching cancer cells to them. A lot of researchers and physicians have already proven this fact and it’s up to you to believe in this statement or not. We also know that smoking can really do tremendous harm in one’s respiratory tract. One’s lungs are forced to contain the smoke from those cigars since they have no capacity to drive the smoke out of your system. Respiratory parts such as the lung sacs and bronchial tubes are just some of the areas in your body that are suffering gravely each time you smoke. So if you are a certified smoker and you’re finally coming to your senses, then today is the perfect time for you to stop this harmful habit. We were given a body to treasure not a body to destroy. The disadvantages of smoking are not that few. Thus, throw all those sticks and start a new life. You can make it if you give it a try. Nothing is truly impossible with determination.
